We Signed Our Project Agreement for “G25-BOLU GES” under the YEKA GES-2025 Tenders
Our company has secured the construction and usage rights of the “G25 Bolu GES” project within the scope of the YEKA GES-2025 tenders held by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources on 25.11.2025. The project, to be implemented in Gerede district of Bolu province, has been planned with an electrical installed capacity of 50 MWe and a mechanical power capacity of 70 MWp. Within the project’s financial obligations, a payment of EUR 2,640,000 in total, including VAT, was made by us to EPİAŞ on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, in line with the contribution fee of EUR 44,000/MWe specified in the tender specifications; furthermore, a definite guarantee letter valid for 10 years and amounting to EUR 3,750,000 was delivered to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources on 05.01.2026. The contract for the project was officially signed on 06.01.2026 in the presence of Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Mr Dr Zafer Demircan and Director General of Energy Affairs Mr Ahmet Özkaya, and following the contract, it is planned to commence site handover processes. In this context, the EIA, zoning and other licensing processes continue in line with the envisaged schedule.
With the plant brought into operation at full capacity, it is targeted to generate approximately 118,610,397 kWh of electrical energy annually. Pursuant to the YEKA GES-2025 specifications, the electricity to be produced will be sold on the free market for the first 60 months, and annual gross revenue of approximately EUR 7.1 million is expected based on the average sales price envisaged at EUR 60/MWh. During the 20-year purchase guarantee period that will begin after the end of the free market period, annual gross revenue of approximately EUR 3.9 million is projected on the basis of a purchase price of EUR 32.5/MWh.
