“The public offering will be a strategic step towards Turkey’s energy independence”

Evaluating the public offering as a strategic step taken towards contributing to Turkey's energy independence and sustainable growth goals, Osman Uğurlu, the Chairman of the Board of Ecogreen Energy Holding, stated, “The intense interest shown by our investors in our public offering and the subsequent 45% increase in our shares in the first four trading days was a clear expression of the trust placed in us. This picture shows that our vision of sustainable energy-based growth and our aim to contribute to the energy transition of our country have been met positively by our investors. The momentum we gained from the public offering allows us to strengthen our corporate structure as well as to continue our future investments with more determined steps.”

Uğurlu, stating that Ecogreen Energy has contributed to a sustainable future by leading Turkey's energy transition with the investments they have made since their establishment, said, “We operate with a total of thirty solar, three biogas, and two biomass energy production plants and one fertilizer factory in eight provinces of our country. With a total installed capacity of 179.586 MW (including hybrid auxiliary sources, 181.686 MW) and an annual production capacity of 90,000 tons of organo-mineral fertilizers, we are investing in the energy of the future and sustainable agriculture. By strengthening our capital structure with the public offering, we plan to finance our existing investments and evaluate new investment opportunities. The added value that the financing we provide brings to our brand awareness and prestige strengthens our corporate structure while focusing on new sustainable energy investments with confidence from our pioneering vision and capital, as we will continue to contribute to Turkey’s energy independence.”

“We will increase our contribution to the green transformation with new investments”

Emphasizing that a significant portion of the revenue obtained from the public offering will be directed towards renewable energy investments, Uğurlu expressed that the company's goal is not only to grow but also to play an active role in Turkey's energy transition, continuing his remarks: “With the support we receive from our capital markets, we want to enhance our renewable energy capacity and contribute more to Turkey's 'Green Transformation' goals. We will again evaluate a large portion of the revenue obtained from the public offering in renewable energy investments. Work is still ongoing for our 100 MWe Kırklareli-3 Electric Storage Wind Power Plant investment, for which the project process has been initiated under the company Ecowind 3. In addition to this project, we closely monitor new opportunities in the energy sector that may arise suitable for our investment criteria. We aim to strengthen our presence in sustainable energy through project development or new acquisitions to generate energy from renewable sources such as Solar Power Plants, Storage Solar Power Plants, Wind Power Plants, and Storage Wind Power Plants.”
