Signing of the UN Global Compact
Osman Uğurlu, Chairman of the Board of Ecogreen Energy, announced their commitment to integrating 10 out of the 17 principles as an essential part of their operations and development goals.
As one of Turkey’s key players in the green energy sector, Ecogreen Energy operates 29 solar power plants, three biogas power plants, and two biomass energy production plants. Strengthening its position in the sector, Ecogreen Energy has signed the United Nations Global Compact and won the Niğde GES Bor-2 100 MW tender, organized by the Ministry of Energy. The company has set 10 of the 17 UN Global Compact principles as its core targets.
